You can read about Scouting all over the web, but the best way to experience
it is to meet our Pack. You can join us for Join Scouting Night
or come and meet us at any meeting.
When do you meet?
Wednesdays at 6:15 PM at Young Israel of Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale
Tradition of Excellence
We are an elite program that teaches boys scouting skills in a fun and rewarding
way. There is no stress to perform, but through hard work and team work, we all advance
together, we compete in camporees together, and we have fun doing it.
From Tiger to Eagle
Our young Tiger Scouts (1st Graders) start on the Bobcat Trail, and over the
years learn more and more, until completing their Arrow of Light in 5th grade.
At that point they are ready for Boy Scouts. With many Scout skills already mastered,
the path to Eagle is about learning to work in a Patrol and perform service to the community.
Alex Hochberger is in his 3rd year as Cubmaster, serving as Committee
Chair for two years prior to that. With extensive experience, our program
runs smoothly instead of reinventing the wheel.
Bear Den Leader and programming leader, Jon Garber, is in his third year
as Den Leader. Recognized by the South Florida Council and Seminole District
for his excellence, Jon Garber is a recipient of the golden sparkplug award.
